On the morning of Sunday 26 July 2020, under a bit of cloud and with quite a chill in the air, members gathered in the car park near Hagen Zerk Automotive, our sponsor of the day’s event, along with Boat Supplies.
Following the standard ‘roll call’ by Richard F, everyone departed with most then stopping at Tumby Bay for a coffee. Eventually all 78 members made it to the Port Neill foreshore park where kind weather greeted us.
It was at this point that those present were met with a superb lunch served by members Maaike, Helen, Elaine, Leigh (on his first Club outing with wife Marilyn in their 1980 MGB Roadster), Rolly and George, who ably assisted the hard working organisers of the day’s event, Neville and Debbie Will. Their input into ensuring that the day was successful was excellent, and appreciated by all present.
During proceedings, a series of free raffles were drawn. Jim Kay and Andrew Brooks each won a $50 fuel voucher courtesy of Eyre Fuels, whilst Lincoln Auto Club shirts, offered as raffle prizes for the first time, were won by Rodney Purton and Brenton Phillips.
Many thanks to Neville and Debbie, and those who attended and helped in any way.
