Brinkworth Christmas BBQ

A cool evening on Winter's Hill!

Brinkworth Christmas BBQ

What makes  a good  club  is members who not only turn up in their classics for a free BBQ supplied by the club, but also those members who put their hand up and offer help in many ways. Friday 11th December saw this occur at Brinkworth Reserve. when 65 members enjoyed the BBQ occasion organised by Neville and Debbie Will.

Of course they were assisted by Geoffrey Phillips, (now a 79’er by the way), and his merry band of helpers, Roly Binns, Glenn Karutz, Allan Cox, and Tony Thorpe.

Mention was made by President Rick of Annette Luckcraft who was celebrating her birthday that day.  Ticky Ellis made the effort to come whilst recovering well from a knee replacement.

15 classic and 15 modern vehicles were lined up, and I wonder which group would be worth the most.  The classics I think.

On arrival the sun was shining brightly so drinks and a chat was the  order of the day, and as the afternoon breeze came up most left early after eating a sumptuous BBQ followed by sweets served to everyone by Maaike and Debbie.

With a full tummy it was time to pack up, jump into a warm car and head home for a nice cuppa.
